Call me a reluctant yogi. I was never going to practice yoga! However, at a weak moment, I surrendered to a friend’s nagging and agreed to attend class. The next day, I was so sore that I could barely move! I HAD to keep practicing just to stretch out the soreness. I quickly learned that the practice wasn’t all about posing or selfies. PRACTICE wasn’t what kept me coming back to the studio.
I became intrigued with the yoga teachings, the strength and flexibility gained, and the sense of acceptance and peace that I felt. The community was what I was looking for. Sure. The physical benefits are great and there are a million places and ways to practice. The difference is that the teachings at EnSoul Yoga reveal a fail-proof method to LIVE.
You can pretty much guarantee that I won’t be the loudest person in the studio. That’s not really my nature. I live by the motto: “You don’t always have to be the loudest voice to be most effective” I will guarantee that our work together will help to build a community of consistency and integrity, aiming to define how we want to live. Classes will celebrate each individual’s uniqueness as we support each other, working to be the best version of ourselves.
I am the mother of three now-adult kids, have been happily married for 30+ years, and am pet mom to multiple dogs and cats. I have also taught yoga and nutrition to elementary aged students with Danielle Karmanos Work It Out (DKWIO). I love to be outside biking, swimming, hiking and staying active.
