MARK WHITEHEAD

I first found yoga in junior year of high school when our hockey coach from Germany taught us a variation of vinyasa yoga. It was the most challenging thing I’d ever done and to be frank, I hated it. It wasn’t until 7 years later, in 2013 when I moved to Atlanta, that I really got into yoga through bikram & vinyasa. At first I could barely make it through a class but soon I started going for back-to-back classes(3 hours straight) and I was hooked. Yoga continues to provide me a level of focus and clarity that no other activity even comes close to. I decided to take yoga teacher training in 2016 in Costa Rica and again in 2018 in Mexico. Teaching yoga is important to me because it allows me to continue looking for growth and share this beautiful practice that has given me so much, with others on their journey! No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.
